It is mostly compatible with any documents created in the Windows versions of Office, but newer features of Office 2013 for Windows may not open as expected under the last boxed Mac version. As you can see (it was actually released late 2010), it hasn't been updated a bit over four years. The current version is Office 2011 for Mac.
